Children under 14 can travel with their own passport. Children over 14 in the European Union can also travel with their identity card.
When a child travels as an unaccompanied minor, or accompanied by one of the parents, he must also have a document issued by a notary specifying both parents or, as the case may be, one of the parents or guardian, stating that they are agreement with the minor’s journey under the specified conditions more information on www.politiadefrontiera.ro
Depending on your destination, you may be required to have a valid passport and a travel visa. Many airlines check the validity of visas before letting passengers board the plane. Emigration officers refuse entry into the country of travelers who do not have a valid visa.
The travel visa may be required at any point of entry in a country, even in the liaison cities. Check all stops and connections when requesting visa information.
For international travel:
Tourists must ensure that the passport is valid for 6 months after the trip is completed, and take into account that some countries may only stay based on this document.

Family and friends have asked us to post photos and comment on our most recent trip to Romania, curiously, more requests for this trip then other trips we have been... read more on. I will say, Romania was more mysterious, and filled with more contradictions than I could have ever imagined. From the opulent buildings built during the royal dynasties to the stark functional Stalin era apartments constructed for the working class during communist occupation. These buildings were all on display in a haphazard mix along side the modern day life we now know and live. Romania is a country with a dark and unimaginable cruel past, but tempered by a deep faith in Orthodox Christianity. As a travel mate said to us during our stay in Sighisoara, an ancient walled city that was the birth place of Vlad Tepes, “there is a reason Romania has so many churches”. It seems, no truer words were ever uttered. This trip took us in a large loop around the entire country starting in Buchaerest and visiting Sibiu, Turda, Cluj-Napoco, Tihuta/Borgo Pass, Sighisara, Brasov and Bran Castle and then back to Bucharest. We took this trip through Transylvanis Live with 18 other adventurous souls, an amazing tour guide by the name of Monica, who was knowledgeable, kind, fun, and cool under pressure, and a bus driver that must have been trained by a master class driver. Thanks Monica for a one of a kind adventure and enough material for a vampire novel to almost write itself.

My wife and I recently did a 7 day, Dracula themed Transylvania tour. Monica was an incredible guide who went above and beyond for us. She has a massive wealth... read more of knowledge regarding the history of Romania and tells it in a way that was exciting and fun. We will certainly be
I went with Holidaysworkshop in Cuba and Jamaica in may and the trip was amazing.
Everything was well organised and we enjoyed our accommodation: clean and comfortable.
Monica’s... read more local guides where really amazing. They made sure we got plenty information about the places we visited.
We got to see the most worthy places in both Cuba and Jamaica.
When in Jamaica don’t miss the natural beauty of the country. Is not only about beaches but also about wonderful natural beauty like dunn’s waterfalls and blue hole. We had a lot of fun!
